Other September events

Tyler is becoming more and more mischievious with each passing day. He won't sit in carts the right way. He's always trying to climb things. He wants to be where the action is.

Cole is a very active little boy. He loves the mall play place. He asked me to take a number of these pictures of him jumping from the top of the slide. This box car Cole made at preschool last several weeks in our house and brought fun and enjoyment to all the boys.

Tyler got his first haircut on September 20, 2012. Unlike with the other boys, I opted to take him somewhere to have it done. I took the other boys for haircuts at the same time. It was an interesting experience. We went to the local beauty school but the girl assigned to do Tyler's hair was too nervous so the instructor had to do it. Lucky for them he has a very unpicky mom.

Grant started hockey. There is a giant bag full of equipment that goes on before even getting on the ice. It takes at least 15 minutes to get it all on. He loves it though.

On September 28, 2012, we went to the chili cook off at Grant's school. I made a crockpot full of plain old chili. It didn't win any awards but everyone liked it and it all got eaten. At the end of the evening the kids performed a line dance for everyone. http://youtu.be/aOFMrhG3xHohttp://youtu.be/bDMNp75j9O0

September was beautiful here in Flagstaff. There were endless fields of bright yellow sunflowers. I wish I could have captured the beauty it brought to our town. These pictures were taken during my walk at Buffalo Park.

On September 29, 2012, David and Melissa came to visit. After Grant's hockey practice and Cole's birthday party, we headed to the hospital's health fair. The kids explored a helicopter, an ambulance and a sheep heart.

After the health fair, we took David and Melissa for some nature at the Watchable Wildlife Trail. It's a nice easy walk in a beautiful area close to Flagstaff. We've done the hike several times.

Grant's school had a chili cook off. I made a crock pot full of "Plain old chili." It didn't win any awards but every drop was eaten. As part of the event the kids performed a dance.
