After our big San Diego trip it didn't seem like the rest of fall break was going to be very eventful but we were wrong. The Rogers made a trip up to Prescott so we were able to spend two days with them. We spent some time at Watson Lake, then lunch at the Stanford home, then Marcus took the kids back to Watson lake, while Sarah, Tyler and I stayed behind. The next afternoon Sarah and the kids came over to play for a little while. Marcus took this picture of the kids when he had them at Watson Lake for a couple of hours.
On October 10, Chad had the day off for Columbus Day. We decided to hike Thumb Butte with the whole Mellen crew. It turned out to be a bit of a disaster. Cole started whining about 10 minutes into the hike and didn't stop until we got back to the car. The biggest and happiest trooper on the hike was Tyler, who chilled and napped on my back.
