On May 24, 2012, Grant turned six years old. He ended up with a few different birthday celebrations. He was able to bring cupcakes to his kindergarten class on his birthday. We found those fun plastic bugs to top the cupcakes. They were a hit with his classmates.
He was a spoiled boy this year. Not only did he get to go to Disneyland a few weeks before his birthday but he got a new, bigger bicycle. Grandma bought him a new bike helmet and knee and elbow pads. Chad picked out several fun, vintage and gag toys from World Market. Grant also chose an ice cream cake from Baskin Robbins.

On June 2, 2012, Grant had his birthday party. We had it at Foxglenn Park. He invited a few friends from school and a few from church. It wasn't a huge party but the kids enjoyed playing at the park, eating cake and trying out Grant's new toys. We continued with the bugs on his birthday cake.
