Random events of the first weeks of May 2010

For my birthday/Mother's Day, Chad purchased me a .357 Smith & Wesson revolver. It is awesome. Below is us shooting it for the first time. It is also the first time we've taken the boys. Grant, our gun-obsessed four year old, was in heaven and Cole just hung out in his carseat. He did really well keeping on the ear protection. Grant was so excited about the whole thing.

On Mother's Day/my birthday, Chad grilled us T-bones. They were delicious. Grant is absolutely in love with steak these days. Both boys gnawed off every scrap of meat they could off the bones.

Below is Grant and Cole playing at the mall playland. Grant asked me to take out the camera and take pictures of him posed in funny poses.

Grant and Cole are never still and always attacking each other. They seem to trade off starting the wrestling but it is always going on. It's like one never ending wrestling match in the house. It often lasts a good hour and takes the kids running all around the house grabbing each other.

Grant went with his preschool class to the awesome (not really at all) Prescott Zoo for a class outing. Cole and I tagged along to help chaperone and see the zoo. This is Grant with one of his favorite friends, Taeya Ashcroft.
