Our little Ty Ty turned one on May 4, 2012. It's been a crazy year with this little guy. He is such a character. He already understands humor and teasing. He is never more entertained and happy than when observing and playing with his brothers. There is still no walking. He is a bum scooter. He sits on his bum and uses his legs and hands to propel himself. He wore out the seam in one of his little leather shoes. We are working on proper crawling but bum scooting is his faster option.
His first birthday was kept low key just our little family celebrating. The boys helped me pick out some toys for presents. We had a simple dinner and gave Tyler his first cupcake. He had no trouble figuring out what to do with that cupcake. I always wonder how little kids know without ever having been exposed that something is a treat versus a healthy food. He knows though.
